Heartfelt Moments, Sizzling Hot Dance Floor & a Menu to Please Everyone = Perfect Reception

What a night for Mike and Maria! The bridal party was introduced to “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars, and the newlyweds made their entrance to “Feel This Moment” by Pitbull. All their friends and family were up and on the dance floor with them, energizing the night immediately! After dancing it out to the intro song, our groom Mike welcomed everyone by saying a few kind words, then asked for his bride Maria’s hand in their first dance to “Still The One” by Shania Twain. The guests shared in the dance with their dates halfway through. Next, Father Rick made a surprising last-minute entrance and wowed the guests with an impactful blessing! Maid of honor Alyissa and best man Patrick gave heartfelt, moving and quite entertaining speeches that touched everyone’s heart (and funny bones!), followed with everyone enjoying a 3-course dinner. But who needed dinner with the incredible appetizer selection during the cocktail hour? We absolutely loved the lamb appetizers! Dinner was complemented midway through with a fun dance set that capped off with “That’s Amore,” everyone on the floor holding hands in song. Mike and Maria had a classy, fun time cutting their wedding cake together while the guests looked on to “I Do” by Colbie Caillat.

After dinner, Maria’s father Joe shared a heart-warming and funny “history lesson” to the guests about the day he met Mike, which was actually one of my favorite parts of the wedding. A sentimental father-daughter and mother-son dance followed, with Maria and father Joe dancing to the classic “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Al Martino and Mike and his mom Kim dancing to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts. The dance floor opened, the lights dimmed down, and the party heated up on the dance floor with a great mix of music spanning the decades and professionally mixed together. Everyone danced the night away, and we wrapped it up with “All Of Me” by John Legend where everyone joined in and enjoyed the last moments of a great night.

The Harborview Ballroom was bright, airy, and roomy with a beautiful view of the water and garden out the windows. Gorgeous chandeliers hung above and added a simply classic and elegant feel to the room. As the night went on, the dance floor was packed with people and energy, everyone having a great time.

I especially enjoyed working with Ron Bilodeau, the event coordinator at the Danversport. Ron is an industry veteran, professional, and understands how to work together in order to have a great evening for all.

Overall, I had a great time at Mike and Maria’s wedding. Thanks so much for choosing us!
