Project Description

What a day in June for a wedding at Stage Neck Inn York Maine for Jess and Jeff’s wedding with the Atlantic ocean as their backdrop for exchanging vows. The groomsmen and parents walked to Without You performed by the The Piano Guys, while the bride entered to Thousand Years (from the Twilight films) again performed by The Piano Guys. If you haven’t heard of the The Piano Guys, they take contemporary music and turn them into classical wonders perfect for any wedding.

The ceremony was conducted expertly by the Reverand Stodden King who traveled all the way from Connecticut to be with us, with a special reading from Jeff’s sister Jennifer.

Everyone enjoyed a fabulous outside cocktail reception and soon after came into the main dining room. The wedding was large enough to incorporate an enclosed deck area space. To connect both dining areas, we were able to setup a small speaker in that space so they could hear all the toasts, blessings and music.

When consulting with Jess and Jeff we uncovered their desires to create an atmosphere where everyone felt like they would be a meaningful part of the day, an attitude that is relaxed for people to open up, and an overall timeless feel and tone.

One way we succeeded with their wishes was to encourage guests to gather all around the dance floor for their 1st dance to make them a part of the moment. And having Jess and Jeff give a welcome greeting directly after their 1st dance really set the stage for a personal and meaningful day.

We helped them pick 2 great songs for their bridal party entrance, Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Marry You from Bruno Mars. Both songs reflecting the fun and youthfulness of the bride, groom and entire family.
