Steeple Hall at the Mission Oak Grill, Newburyport MA is one of our all time favorite wedding venues that we’ve performed at. This popular Newburyport wedding destination has both old world character and modern charm. Located 30 minutes from Boston and less than two blocks from the water in Downtown Newburyport, it’s so close to historic inns, bed & breakfasts, downtown shopping, and beaches.

Steeple Hall is the only wedding venue in Newburyport with the capacity to host 180 guests for dinner. The Mission Oak Grill, a full service kitchen located directly below, delivers exceptional quality food and are very flexible with menu customizations.

Originally a Baptist Church, Steeple Hall was transformed into a dramatic and unique wedding venue with floor to ceiling windows, cathedral ceilings and stained glass details.

You’ll receive 5 star services from every staff member, including wedding coordinators Ashleigh and Meghan. They will treat you like family and make the process easy and fun. We really enjoy working with them.

I have had the pleasure of working several weddings and events with Ron Carpenito and his crew over the past two years, and have had nothing but positive experiences with him! Ron sets the tone of professionalism about a week before the wedding, emailing a detailed timeline of the event to make sure everyone is on the same page. When working an event, Ron always shows up with plenty of time to set up his equipment, run sound checks, and check in with our staff for any last minute details or changes. He understands how an event should flow, and intuitively works in the moment to keep the night on track! Once the formalities are over, and the guests are ready to let loose, Ron transforms the atmosphere to an upbeat dance party and keeps everyone on their feet until the end of the night. It is so wonderful to work with someone who is both passionate about music, and also knows how to be a great emcee and keep the party going at all times!
